Visitors who are staying overnight in Kantishna can experience Denali flightseeing from its closest airport.
Take a journey following the gently rising terrain, past numerous kettle ponds, upward to the base of Denali, which stands at 20,320 ft.(6194 m.). As one of the premier Alaska glacier tours we will spend 60 minutes viewing the enormous glaciers, towering granite walls and snow-covered peaks that enshrine North America’s greatest mountain. The view on this one-hour scenic air tour offers a perspective of Alaska that you’ll never forget.
The duration of the flight is ideal for in-depth sightseeing and photography. If weather conditions allow, we will circumnavigate the entire Denali massif – Denali sightseeing at its best.
On our return, we will descend over the historic mining district of the Kantishna Hills, which attracted prospectors and settlers here at the turn of the century. Our round-trip adventure is completed at the Kantishna International Airstrip, with ground shuttles provided to Kantishna-based lodges.
$325 per person. Flights require a 3-passenger minimum, and we’ll try to match parties of less than 3 guests. Approximately 60 minute tour. Pilot gratuities are not included and are appreciated.
