Denali Depot Express

Air Taxi Service and Scenic Tours of Alaska between Kantishna and Denali Park Entrance.  This trip offers an alternate option to bus travel to and from Kantishna lodging.  The McKinley Park Airstrip is located directly across from the Alaska Railroad Depot.

Often travel from Anchorage or Fairbanks will not allow travelers to meet the Kantishna lodge busses that depart early afternoon to Kantishna.  Flights can be arranged at any time to fly you into Kantishna. Choose a direct or scenic fly-by option. Prices will vary depending on the number of travelers on your flight (see below).

On your departure day from Kantishna: Instead of an early morning, five-hour bus ride, you can enjoy your extra time at the lodge, and then depart mid-morning. Fly through the awe-inspiring Alaska Range. The optional scenic Denali flightseeing trip will take us to the North Face of Denali and over a number of the north side glaciers. We will arrive at the depot with plenty of time to make your travel connections at the Park entrance. Direct flight: 35 minutes. Scenic Denali flight: 55 minutes.

We provide all transfers between the Kantishna Airport and the Kantishna lodges!
