How to get to/from Skyline Lodge
Skyline Lodge in Kantishna is located 93 miles from the Park Entrance at the end of the road in Denali National Park. You can access our remote location by flying with Kantishna Air Taxi, riding the National Park Service bus, or a combination of the two. We offer a 55-minute scenic fly-by (Denali flight), which allows time to experience the spectacular north face of Denali, and a 35-minute direct flight. Make all flight reservations with Kantishna Air Taxi. The NPS bus takes approximately 6-7 hours going into Kantishna and around 5-6 hours going out to the Park Entrance. Driving personal vehicles to Skyline Lodge is not an option, as the Park Road requires a permit.
Pick one of the following transportation options:
Option #1: Fly in/bus out. This is the BEST value, easiest convenience, and the option we highly recommend. Because of our unique situation and general flight schedule, we are able to offer you discounted rates for inbound flights if we can match you with an existing outgoing flight. Outgoing bus tickets can be purchased at the Skyline Lodge. You do not need to contact Park Service for this option. Make all reservations with us. See bus schedule and flight schedule.
Option #2: Bus in/fly out. Make bus reservations with Park Service and flight reservations with us. See Denali Depot Express for outgoing flight prices. See busschedule.
Option #3: Bus in/bus out. Make all busreservations with Park Service. See busschedule. Guests may still take a flightseeing tour while staying with us in Kantishna.
